In the movie, Vijay plays a carefree youth who does everything according to his wish. A fashion technology student, he comes across Genelia in the campus and falls in love with her. Bipasha Basu plays a lecturer in the movie. She does perform an item number too in the movie.
A major portion of the movie was shot in Ooty and the rest in Campa Cola sets in Chennai. A couple of songs are being shot in Iceland and Switzerland.
The music is by Devi Sri Prasad, and he knows the pulse of the modern generation very well. Producer Kalaipuli Thanu has spent a huge sum to complete the movie.
